Syd is awarded a Brewer Fellowship

Congrats to Syd Sattler, the lab’s first graduate student, for receiving a Bonita and David Brewer Fellowship! This award will fund her proposal to study novel cell type evolution in the annual killifish Nothobranchius furzeri. We are especially excited for the comparative transcriptomics work she has planned to compare cell lineages between annual killifish and zebrafish.
